Carson Morales (They/Them) is a Latinx visual artist and educator based in The Bronx, NY. Drawing from personal experiences with mental illness, trauma, gender identity, and body image, Carson uses art as a powerful tool for self-reflection, healing, and growth. While not a substitute for therapy, their creative practice has provided a meaningful outlet for navigating life’s complexities and reclaiming joy.

Much of Carson’s work is inspired by their own body and the bodies of their loved one, captured in various stages of their life. Each piece explores themes of vulnerability, self-love, and transformation, inviting viewers to see themselves with compassion and curiosity.

Carson holds a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and Psychology from The City College of New York and is currently on the path to becoming a licensed art therapist. They lead inclusive Puff and Paint classes at Hempsville Harlem and offer private art sessions with the company for individuals of all ages, beginning as young as five.

Through their art, Carson aims to encourage others to view themselves as worthy, whole, and beautiful, regardless of shape, size, or identity.
